In fact, they are coming back in the Spring to do the planting in the back, do the front and stain the fence.
It was a bit of eyeopener for me regarding how much landscaping (hardscape, in particular, costs) but we got a few quotes and they were very similar (and in fact Geta’s was a bit less and we ended up getting more – like the Pergola – which I LOVE). My husband had taken her name down when he saw some of her work on Colin Ave. and coincidentally Geta came recommended to me by a colleague. She was by far the most responsive of those we spoke with and she was willing to listen to us in terms of what we wanted, what she thought would look good with the character of the home and was very knowledgeable. She and Brent really know their stuff. And if it has to do with lighting or irrigation or even an Air Con guy – anything remotely related to their work – they have a contact – all of whom have been a delight.
I have no hesitation recommending them. And that is why we have already hired them for the Spring as we wanted to get “back on their dance card”! To be honest, it feels like a new house which we are so looking forward to using this summer .

Geta and her partner Brent are a dynamic duo! They are creative and enthusiastic and together, transformed our backyard from a nice place into our own little Shangri-la! They combined beautiful plantings with architectural stone elements to create a serene, natural setting that we have enjoyed from day one. Our job presented a particular challenge because the pergola over the deck was supporting a twenty-year-old trumpet vine that provides shade in the summer. It was mission-critical that the vine survive, and Brent came up with an ingenious solution to jack up the old pergola while the new one was being built underneath. I have known Geta for seven years. She helped with small gardening projects at my last house. She was always willing to give me advice concerning the gardens, whether it be planting or maintenance. When Geta suggested that we transition our postage stamp backyard, which had all of the hallmarks of a dull drab looking patch of weeds into a garden, we accepted all of her suggestions and ideas.
Within two months the backyard was transformed into a profusion of colour including several flowering trees, shrubs, long grasses and a variety of flowers such that each week, from spring crocuses and early daffodils and tulips to fall daisies and mums, new plants and colours emerge weekly.
